Our activities contribute to reach the UN Millennium Development Goals, signed by common agreement by United Nations in the year 2000, to be reached in 2015. Through its work, EPASI helps to fulfill 5 of the 8 UN Millennium Development Goals:

• To promote gender equality and empower women: Eliminate gender disparity in primary and secondary education.
• To reduce child mortality.
• To improve maternal health: Reduce by three quarters the maternal mortality ratio.
• To defeat HIV/AIDS and to stop and start to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS.
• To guarantee environmental sustainability: Achieve significant improvement in lives.
