Preventive Workshops
Pre-school Workshop Playing and learning

To prevent is to anticipate to the facts
To avoid something to happen
This is why we teach children and adolescents
to defend and to scape from violence and abuse danger.

In Preventive Workshops, boys and girls are taught that they are worthy, deserving good treatment. They learn their body only belongs to themselves and they know they are surrounded by people who love and protect them unconditionally (teachers and partners). So, in front of an abusive situation, that boy or girl will reject that offering, they will escape and tell others what happened. It is then when the sexual offenders’ plan is ruined. Prevention has been effective.

Programme "While we get fun we learn to live"

This programme is unique in its kind in the whole Country. Its goal is that boys and girls learn to say NO to sexual abuse. The workshops are dynamic, interactive, there is music, songs, games, stories, dolls, puzzles, radio theatre, disguises, etc.
It lasts four months, once a week for 2 hours. Children and adolescents from 4 to 17 years old attend the workshops. They are divided into three levels according to their ages: Pre-school (4-6) pupils (7-11) and adolescents (12-17).
The didactic material has been made by psychologists, psychiatrist, psycho- pedagogues, children doctors, social-psychologists, psycho-dramatists from Uruguay, Argentina and Tucuman. The creator of the program is the Graduate Viviana Salinas, EPASI’s director.
The workshops take place in EPASI, in comfortable classrooms specially prepared for these activities. We also develop these workshops in private and public educational institutions, different organizations as churches, foundations, Children Homes, dinning halls and Communitarian Centres.
