-The average age for boys starting to consume pornographic is 11 years old.
-One in four children under 17 years old has already visited some pornographic site in their life.
-The group who consumes pornography in its highest level is that of boys of 12 and 17 years old .
- 30% of all e-mails contains pornographic information.
-Nine in ten children between 8 and 16 years old have seen pornography mainly by accident while doing tasks .
- 60% of the web sites which are being visited has sexual characteristics.

The problem is that 38% of adults believe that there is nothing wrong with the use of pornography.The fact is that 72 million Internet users visit pornographic sites every year. Sex is the topic most searched in Internet.
WHAT TO DO THEN?
*Check your son, daughter, grandchildren when using internet
*Talk to them in confidence about the risks of this addiction".
* Visit the cyber your children attend and be sure if it follows the Law previously mentioned and whether the cyber has areas designed for children and adults separately
* Do not allow children to chat with strangers
* Install the pornographic filter in your PC
* Do not allow children to have channel TV in their bedrooms(Children may watch pornographic programmes very late at nigth or very early in the morning, the time when you are not present).
